Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesPreparation of financial statements and tax returns in accordance with Firm standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprisesConducting audits on small to medium sized organizations in a variety of industriesPreparation of tax returns (T1, T2s,T3s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST)Notice to readers and review engagementsAuditing financial statements of business clients as a team member or audit seniorEffective communication with our clients, government agencies and with our managers and staffKeeping managers and other team members informed, on an ongoing basis of progress and significant issuesProviding advice and training to other staff membersIdentify new business opportunities with existing clientsParticipate in new business development initiativesEducation and Professional Skills/KnowledgeMust hold a professional accounting designation3+ years of relevant midsize public practice experience directly related to Private Enterprise or IFRS/large audit engagementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable with Microsoft Office Suite of productsExperience with CaseWare an assetAdditional RequirementsAbility to prioritize workloads and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesComplete additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
