This is primarily a business development role. The immediate focus is to enhance existing client relationships, and to develop and expand retail relationships with the management and employees of our commercial loan clients. As time permits, the individual will be expected to attend networking events, and to source new retail opportunities.
Mutual Funds Licence required.
Branch Compliance Officer designation required.
PFP Designation required, CFP designation an asset
7 years banking experience in a lending capacity with strong negotiating skills, including, mutual fund sales experience and 3-4 years supervisory experience.
Branch Compliance Officer experience an asset.
Ability to interpret and analyse Company financial statements would be an asset
Strong knowledge of credit structuring for self-employed and professional clients.
Proven business development and sales skills that enhance client relationships.
Excellent organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal
Prepared to join business associations and attend networking events.
Strong focus on the development and growth of mutual funds portfolio. Participate in the development of retail deposit and loan portfolios.
Actively seeking to identify opportunities to develop and enhance client relationships as well as seeking and making appropriate referrals to/from the commercial banking team.
Participate in establishing and implementing the branch retail lending and deposit marketing plan.
Preparation, completion and processing of loan documents/applications while following established guidelines.
