The Opportunity: Receptionist – REQ#204

Location: Calgary, AB

Reporting to the Manager, Building & Office Services, the Receptionist is responsible for representing TAQA as the initial contact person with the public, answering phone calls, greeting guests and taking care of some other office related duties as directed.

As part of this challenging role you will specifically be responsible for:

Answering phone calls and greeting guests (Cisco System, approx. 400 staff)

Maintaining security access cards and visitor passes

Maintaining pictures on the R Directory

Mailing out weekly cheques

Maintaining 9-1-1 Directory

Preparing bank deposits for Treasury

Related Information Management duties

Maintaining spreadsheets and the coding of invoices

Recording and distributing company taxi chits

Other miscellaneous duties as directed

 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


Minimum Grade 12 education

Capable of working in a computerized environment

Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills

Multitasking ability with a positive attitude


Administrative experience

Previous Oil and Gas industry experience

Experience with ADP an asset
