The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client services, including record keeping and reporting. The Payroll professional in this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of the complete payroll cycle. This includes various on cycle and off cycle payrolls for a diverse group of hourly, salary, and other employees as required. This role also provides support and assistance as required to HR and Finance departments.This is a 12-month contract providing maternity leave coverage.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides payroll administrative services to employees, managers as well as internal and external clients. Ensure confidentiality & privacy.Master data maintenance & all GPA entry.Calculate and prepare advancesCalculate & input disability, modified work, sub plans, garnishments, terminations, overpayments, supp earnings, etcMaintain employee master data for salaried, hourly and day rate employees (new hires, terminations, status changes, GPA input, Mater data changes, Maternity Sub plans, etcCalculate and input earnings for WCB modified work every pay, manage changesCalculate and input earnings for STD & LTD, manage changesInput all supplementary earnings requestsAttending to employees and departmental inquiriesBackup to assist with timesheet entry when required.Filing.Ensure backup and approval prior to inputPrepare Pay Stubs & Field Premium statements for mailing. Mail & fax delivery, printing & stuffing pay statements & Field Premium StatementPrinting GPAs, vacation requests, supplemental, & timesheetsManage Payroll InboxData entry of Timesheets, Supplementals and vacation requestsAd hoc projects and tasks as assigned.The Payroll Administrator ensures compliance of employee payroll are consistent with organizational policies and procedures as well as government regulations.Job RequirementsCollege diploma in Business or Human ResourcesMinimum 2 years of payroll administration experience.PCP CertificateIntermediate level in MS Excel & Word skillsMust have experience working with Peoplesoft.Exceptional attention to detailWorks well within a team environmentEffective verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service oriented.Adhered to confidentiality and privacy of data processed.What we can offer!Great working environments!
