Loan Service Clerk-Search and Registration

Responsible for the accurate verification and input of the accurate and timely preparation of all security documents for business and agriculture loans. Loan Clerk ? Business Loans document registration is responsible for accurate and timely preparation and registration of all security documents for business and agricultural loans. In addition, this positions acts as a liaison with branch lenders to clarify loan requirements and may request additional documentation from the branch lenders as required to finalize the registration request.

You will find success based on your ability to:

Prepare all PPR registrations, and out of province registrations. Balances PPR account on a monthly basis.

Manage all LTO registrations and discharges.

Manage all search / discharge requests.

Conduct collateral reviews and renewals.

Ensure effective customer service is maintained for high quality work that is consistently accurate.

Ensure all documents are prepared correctly and in a timely fashion to ensure that Central Services service levels to all branches are adhered to.

Take initiative ? does what needs to be done without being asked or directed.

Use judgment and acts within recognized decision-making limits when dealing with unusual situations.

Actively participates with the Team Leader / Manager in setting personal productivity levels, performance expectations and goal setting.

Under the direction of the Team Leader/Manager, prepares and updates various tracking of data and/or documents.

Job Requirements:

As the ideal candidate you possess:

Excellent understanding of business and agricultural loan and mortgage PPR and LTO registration requirements, ensuring effective customer service is maintained for high quality work that is consistently accurate.

Strong administrative, organizational and planning skills.

Strong technical ability/PC skills.

Contributes positively to the morale of the team.

Shares ideas/successes with team members

Works co-operatively with others to get the job done.

Provides guidance, direction and help when needed.

Decisive, creative and flexible; ability to work independently.

Strong technical ability/PC skills.

Readily adapts to changes in the organizational environment.

Positive attitude and workplace behavior is demonstrated at all times, self-motivated.

Minimum six months ATB branch or processing centre experience.

Working towards or already acquired - APPRES Accreditation.
