The Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport, located at 25 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary is currently looking to fill 2 Guest Service Agent position(s
The job would entail, but is not limited to: Checking in/out guests, making, cancelling, amending reservations, answering enquiries regarding hotel services, provide information of available events/attractions in the community and respond to guests' complaints. Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems, present statements of charges to departing guests, and receive payments, balancing all transactions for the day.
Require Grade 12, no experience required, we will do one on one training with you. You must be able to speak, read and write in English. Work well with others, and be a problem solver.
Work Conditions/Physical Capabilities:
Fast paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling guest luggage, attention to detail, combination of standing, walking, standing for extended periods of time, multi-tasking. The shift hours would vary from 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Some overtime may be occasionally required.
This will be permanent, full time, on call, shift, weekends, days, or evening shifts.
Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00/hr
