JOB SUMMARY: This occupation helps to build the Delta Calgary Airport experience for our guests through a 'customer comes first' attitude by providing hands-on timely quality service, exceptional value, and a superior product. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Outlet Manager, the Outlets Supervisor is responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the Compass Restaurant, YYC, North 51° and IRD by achieving maximum sales and ensuring the satisfaction of both team members and guests.  We are looking for a dynamic leader with high energy, creativity, professional manner and strong work ethic to motivate an experienced Food & Beverage team!  The successful candidate must have a good understanding of key service standards and quality service. The position is accountable for modeling and acting in accordance with the Delta's Core Values and Code of Ethics.  SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the preparation of departmental monthly financial forecasts and annual budget. Development, implementation and follow up of menus, promotions, team incentives etc. Constantly seeks way to enhance service and increase revenues. Schedules and manages labour expenses within productivity guidelines. Attends and/or chairs Hotel committee meetings. Chairs monthly department communication meetings. Creates and maintains excellent relations with both internal and external guests. Assists in ensuring the timely completion of all employee development reviews (30, 90 & Annual) Ensures the professional growth and development of all team members in the department. Provides strong leadership through positive reinforcement, performance management, training and coaching. Motivates team members and develops strong channels of communication by maintaining good relations and encouraging team spirit and empowerment. Demonstrates a professional and positive work ethic to all internal guests at all times. Actively promotes a safe and healthy work environment. Ensures all equipment is in proper working order. Maintains outlets by reporting all concerns to the Engineering departments. Follows and is knowledgeable of all laws pertaining to liquor and food service and employment standards Leads a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest quality experience is provided to our guests. Ensures Delta Community Codes are maintained and exceeded. Respond to all customer concerns verbally and/or written Provide "Elevated Service" in all interactions  SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE: Two-three years previous management/supervisory experience in a high volume hotel restaurant environment. Post-secondary education, preferably in Hotel and Restaurant management, an asset Must possess working knowledge of Micros 9700, Excel, Microsoft Word. Opera PMS knowledge an asset. Creative and effective individual to lead the department to an unparalleled level of excellence  REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to learn quickly. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed. Ability to build relationships. Beverage Service - Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and service of items.
