Find The Career You Have Been Looking For


The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and reviewing external financial reporting documents and assisting with the research of complex accounting issues and the preparation of related calculations and journal entries as required.



 . Prepare and review interim and annual financial statements

 . Review interim and annual MD&A

 . Complete and assist with the interim and annual close procedures

 . Maintain all supporting documentation related to the quarterly/annual financial statements and MD&A

 . Coordinate and communicate with external auditors

 . Research, develop and assist with the implementation of new International Financial Reporting Standards

 . Support accounting research and undertaking related projects as required

 . Assisting with identification and implementation of business improvement processes

 . Special projects as required


 . Typically 2+ years of post-designation experience in the Canadian public financial reporting industry with a post-secondary degree in a related field such as Accounting or Finance

 . Completion of your Professional Accounting designation

 . Familiarity with and understanding of:

    o International Financial Reporting Standards

    o Microsoft Office Suite
