Job Description

Consultants - Financial Education and Employer Services Our client, a downtown wealth management company, is seeking 2 Consultants - Financial Education and Employer Services to join their team on a permanent basis. These positions will be responsible for presenting seminars and workshops, project management, and some administrative duties. Responsibilities Include: Prepare, customize, update and revise PowerPoint presentations Deliver presentations to employees of company's corporate clients on all aspects of financial planning Ensure evaluations and attendee sign-in sheets are completed, collected and returned to Administrator Meet with client for initial data gathering Arrive prior to seminar start times to set up, work outside normal office hours and travel to remote locations Represent the company in a professional, pleasant and engaging manner at all times Be aware of opportunities to highlight company services Facilitate hand off to company consultants for qualified, prospective clients Assist department manager with ongoing project management of corporate client base Assist with development of strategic plans, proposals, budgets, contracts, program development, enhancements, updates and revisions Enter meetings/presentations/specific work completed in time tracking system and send confirmation to Administrator Provide a monthly expense report with receipts for backup Qualifications Include: CFP or equivalent designation Minimum 2 years financial planning or related experience Proven presentation skills Team player with strong interpersonal skills Possess and maintain in-depth current and advanced knowledge in all facets of financial planning including corporate benefits, especially pension plans. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously with attention to details and deadlines Pursue ongoing continuing education to retain professional status Keep fully informed through a variety of sources of changes to relevant regulations and legislation Ability to use own initiative and work independently Ability to use sound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters Excellent interpersonal skills Klopp Richards & Associates' mission is to be a single source staffing partner creating value for local businesses and Candidates by developing long term relationships based on open communication, integrity, and trust.
