LOCK SEARCH GROUP Our client is a global manufacturer of pumps for the oil and gas industry with an enviable reputation for quality, reliability and dependability. We are looking for an accomplished technical sales professional with strong knowledge of pumps, an understanding of the energy segment and experience with major producers in Fort McMurray to support and develop an established customer base as the Aftermarket Sales Account Manager. Based in Calgary and supporting facilities in Fort McMurray, the Aftermarket Sales Account Manager is accountable for consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets at key Oil Sands account(s The aftermarket representative will work aligned with all pertinent technical support, manufacturing, engineering and senior executive team members to identify and close new business opportunities for all product technologies & services under the Canadian corporate umbrella within Alberta. You will be responsible to: Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive new equipment & aftermarket (parts and service) sales to existing Oil Sands account(s) Consistently meet & exceed sales targets Identifying and close new business opportunities for all product technologies & services Provide technical support and aftermarket assistance to key Oil Sands account(s) Strategically come up with innovative value added solutions for customer challenges Coordinate and manage customer contracts and maintain an active participation in bid proposals Thoroughly complete quarterly forecasts, monthly project reports and sales budgets Conduct high level sales presentations for clients and internal stakeholders Specifically the successful candidate will have: Bachelor Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical discipline, or related mechanical trades experience from the rotating equipment industry This role will travel 50-60% between Calgary and Fort McMurray. Accommodations, vehicle and expense account are provided while in Fort McMurray.
